"Well, the gossip part you'll work on," She said with a soft chuckle, then she shook her head again, just barely. "Not at all what I meant, though. This..." she made a vague hand gesture toward him. "I've been here four years, but I never really though about making friends on the faculty. I was too busy, and I left to go home after classes were done. I thought I'd be turning into a frightening old school marm, having to live here, but this is nice. I look forward to this." And yes, she was aware she was rambling, and she blushed, but couldn't seem to stop. Maybe the third glass of wine hadn't been the best idea.
