What: A beer or seven

Bradley arrived a little before nine, the pub was full of the regulars and about six new faces. So there was plenty of room for two blokes to sit in peace and have a beer. Three of the new faces were ladies all dressed up and giggly. Which he didn’t mind at all. Giving them his best rakish smile he headed to the bar. Ordering a dark brew he found an open table next to the front windows. He’d heard some hullabaloo about this gent being famous or some such, but he had no idea where he was supposed to know him from. Didn’t matter to Bradley if the guy was famous or dirt poor, he understood the truth of dress robes.
So he sat, well lounged would have been a better term, at the table watching the muggle passersby. It was a pleasant sort of evening, the ladies had put some up beat music on the juke box and were dancing together. Indeed he was quite pleased he’d decided to come out tonight.
