Megan thought it over for a moment before responding. That did sound like a bit of a tricky situation. And after all, all she did know about the budding relationship is what Hannah had told her, so she didn't know much more than that. Granted, she wasn't the prying sort so she didn't need to know, but still. She liked to know that her friends were doing okay, and when things weren't going well, she liked to fix that as best as she could. "Well, maybe he just busy up at the school. You know how teenagers are. They can be more of a handful than little ones." she said with a small laugh. "I'm sure it's not as bad as you think. I don't think he'd cancel on you if it wasn't important." she said trying to reassure her friend as best as she could.
The drinks came promptly and Megan began to play with the plastic sword holding onto the cherry in the bright pink drink, swirling it around. "Speaking of, er, dates..." she said trying to think of a good way to announce this per say. Megan had a few short dates, nothing that ever came of anything, but that didn't stop her from being excited about this date-that-might-not-actually-be-a-date none the less.
