Kirley was excited. He’d been surrounded by his crazy friends most of the time since he’d last seen Emma, and a few of them had given him a rather hard time about her, but he couldn’t help himself. There was something about the girl that he just couldn’t let go of. She always kept him interested, no matter what it was she was saying. She was certainly enticing him to do things that he’d never thought about doing for other girls without even batting an eyelash for it. He just simply wanted to do things for her.
What he had planned that night was really kind of special. He rarely took anyone to the little hole-in-the-wall club with him. It was muggle, and a place for him to escape. There were a lot of regulars that went there, and always a few new people, though he was there as often as he could swing it. He loved getting up on the stage with his guitar, playing his guitar while people sang, or singing himself. It was just something that he loved that he wanted to share with her since he knew she had such a beautiful voice.
When he saw the pretty red-head lingering at their bench, he was thrown off at first. But he recalled that she loved beauty charms, and she had the most intriguing sense of style sometimes. It wasn’t until she turned around that he was sure that it was Emma. The same beautiful face was smiling at him, framed by those red curls. And the blue was certainly striking.
Kirley grinned broadly, “Hello to you as well,” he greeted. He was dressed in dark wash jeans, a white button up shirt, and a suit jacket thrown over his shirt, though there was a tie loosely hanging around his neck. Yes, he was still in his usual disarray, but somehow put together as well, “You look absolutely stunning, Em.”
