Jack felt like a right prat. Especially after his conversation with the girls the night before. Could it be that he actually fancied Andrew? His best friend in the world? Was that was he was so adament that Frank was a knobhead? Was he jealous?

Well, it certainly would explain a lot of things. He had always loved Andrew... but as a friend. Had it become more than that without his knowing? Jack knew he hated the idea of Andrew dating Frank - or Andrew dating anyone, for that matter. He knew that he always wanted him around, preferred his company to anyone else's.

Did he fancy him?

Jack couldn't figure it out. But after having spent the night away from the flat, he knew he had to return and actually talk to Andrew. And maybe that would make things make sense. He hoped so.

He returned to the flat all meek, because he felt bad for how he had left things. A veritable kiss-and-run it had been. He did not come empty handed. No, he had a box of Andrew's favourite pastery-type treats. Jack let himself into the apartment, closing the door quietly behind him.

"Andrew?"

"Well I guess that makes us both a little bit daft," Jack said with a rueful little laugh. "But I think we can be forgiven." He sat up and then climbed himself onto the bed. Looping himself around Andrew, so his chest was against the other boy's back. He reached for the box and pulled it over, into Andrew's lap.

"I got your favourites," he said as he flipped the top open, revealing delicious looking baked goods inside. Really, a great sort of breakfast. It was like dessert, but in breakfast form!

Nuzzling the top of Andrew's head, he reached for one himself. "You look tired," he noted as he took a bite.

Andrew leant back into Jack's familiar, comforting form and wondered how things had changed between them so much that this felt like no other time they'd done this before; he felt settled and stable.

"You shouldn't have." he protested a little. "But thanks." He admitted with a smile, reaching in to pick something out and nibble on it, humming a happy little sound as Jack nuzzled into him. "Hmm." he said, agreeing softly. He wasn't about to tell Jack that he hadn't slept all night, although now that the misery was gone that was starting to catch up with him a little.

"Hmmm. So articulate," Jack teased him, nosing against the back of his head again. "Shall I take that as a 'Yes Jack, I am quite tired, you're so clever to notice'?" He grinned as he took a big bite of the pastery, and licked frosting from his fingertips.

"I'll just have to make sure you get your sleep," he murmured as he chewed and then leaned around to steal a bite of the pastery that Andrew held in his hand.

Andrew grinned and then laughed a little through a mouthful of breakfast at Jack's teasing, shaking his head a little at the other boy's expansion on what he'd actually said, which hadn't been much to be fair.

He fought the desire to yawn as Jack spoke about sleep and then made an affronted noise as his pastry was deviously nommed on. "You know, you just have to ask." he said, leaning his head back and looking round enough that he could look back at Jack, smiling as he caught sight of some icing clinging to Jack's mouth - he still wasn't sure of where the lines of this new development of their relationship were, so he reached back to wipe the icing off the corner of Jack's mouth and suck it off his finger. "Mm, num."

"I like my way better," Jack replied. "Much more ninja." His arm curled more snuggly around Andrew, holding him against his chest. Like he didn't want to let him go, which he really didn't. Something that could become awkward later when one of them needed to use the washroom, but oh well!

He nipped his teeth playfully in the direction of Andrew's swiping fingers and then finished off his pastery and licked his own fingers, because there was no sense wasting any delicious delicious frosting. He waited until Andrew was done eating, and set the box aside.

"Alright, you sir, Mr. Andy, are having a nap."

Andrew had to concede that point; ninja skills were far superior to just asking.

He sighed a happy little sigh as Jack snuggled him closer and yawned again, sore-eyed from needing sleep and staying awake all night. He licked at his lips to clean them and wondered if he was actually dozing off right there in Jack's arms.

He looked up a little, disturbed at the motion of Jack moving the box, and then yawned almost in reply to Jack's comment; he really couldn't protest and just tried to turn a little to lie up against Jack. "M, okay." he agreed, yawning yet again.

Jack laughed in a soft way when Andrew's lips parted in yawn after yawn. Oh yes, his boy was sleepy. Jack lowered him down so he was laying out on the bed, and sprawled himself next to him, keeping arms around him.

"Sleep, Little Spoon," he murmured, kissing his hair, which was soft and smelled like Andy, and whatever shampoo he used - they both used, really, since it was the one in the shower. He nuzzled and closed his eyes and found himself drifting as well. He hadn't really slept the night before either.

	Andy reached to take Jack's hand and twined their fingers together so they'd be holding hands even in sleep. He gave a little sigh at Jack's soothing and then fell into a sorely needed sleep feeling happy in a way he'd never felt before. (Reply to this) (Parent)
