Jill wasn't much on shopping for vegetables. She much preferred growing her own. However, her crop of tomatoes had been particularly disappointing this year, and so she trotted down to the market to sample their wares.
Tomatoes were first on her list, but as she browsed, she found more and more things which looked good to her. Pondering the possibility of having Stone Soup for dinner that night, she piled her basket high, and was just turning to peruse the pumpkins proffered by the proprietor (she patted herself on the back for her silly little piece of alliteration), she felt a shopping cart being driven into her.
She looked up to see who could have committed this crime of grocery traffic against her, and felt her face turn bright red. This was the part where she would have said hello, if she had been able to wrap her tongue and teeth around the words.
