Theo wanted to be this for Greg, the person he couldn't remember being because most of the time he didn't know what it was that Greg wanted, but where his heart was in the right place and he wanted to make Greg happy his body lagged behind, scarred by the ghost feeling of unwanted touches that Theo had no shelter from, even in his madness, or especially in his madness, no defence from the intrusive thoughts to speak of. His memories were assassins and he was completely unarmed.
Even then, he still kissed Greg back even as his fingers curled tight in anxious panic on Greg's bicep. Kissed and tried so hard to lose himself in the fact that Greg loved him but he couldn't help the unpleasant memories that broke him down inside. He mewed against Greg's mouth, shuddering as his body responded to the pleasure even as his mind sought to escape.
