Greg moved them to the door of the cottage, grabbing their robes for the walk up and back, and he faced Theo, adjusting the thing about Theo so it wouldn't slip off. It fit him well enough, something pinched from his mum's house, and with his wand and the key securely in his pocket, Greg took Theo's hand and led him out of the cottage, and up the hill to the castle.
They slipped in a side door, and moved across the Great Hall, the sound of students voices absent. He led Theo up the stairs, and by some miracle, they passed only a few students who were far more worried about getting to their house common rooms in a timely manner. He stopped outside of the door, and glanced about, and used the key to open the door slowly. There was one there, and Greg felt lucky as he slipped Theo and himself inside.
