What: Drinking Firewhiskey and conversation and forgetting about non-weddings.

Status: Incomplete/Closed.
Zacharias had been shocked when he had heard the news that Susan and Ernie's engagement had been called off - and that they were hardly even together anymore! Those two had always seemed so right together, such a great fit, for as long as they'd been a couple. And even before that, if you looked back upon it with hindsight.
He hoped that they would work it out. But in the meantime, he could play the role of good friend, supplying alcohol and an ear to listen and anything else that was needed. Tonight, for Ernie, but he would do the same for Susan if she ever required it. To those who didn't know him well, or those he didn't like, Zacharias was an insufferable prat, but to his friends he was loyal and true. There was, after all, some Hufflepuff in him! Quite literally, in fact, genetically.
He had brought a couple bottles of Firewhiskey out from his wine room (which did have some wine in it as well, along with Firewhiskey and some other alcohols) and grabbed some tumblers from the cupboards. Zacharias lived in a flat, but really, it was the entire top floor of the building, the penthouse suite. With a balcony and everything (often used for landing if he flew home, or someone flew over to visit). Zacharias set the bottles down on the table and then waited for Ernie to arrive.
