"I'm sorry to be nosy, I just find it interesting, the difference between, well, minority cultures in the Muggle world and in the Magical world," he elaborated, speaking faster now - he was onto something. A pitch was forming in Kevin's head even as he spoke.
Even Carlisle couldn't deny there was an interesting story to be found in the differences in minority cultures between the Wizarding and Muggle worlds. Perhaps one world could learn from the other; suddenly Kevin had visions of his work actually being meaningful.
"I mean, there's big differences in the gay communities of both sorts. D'you suppose there are big differences in the Deaf communities?" he asked, growing excited and eager to pitch Carlisle.
