Settling back on her haunches Lyra folded her hands in her lap and gave a hum of a reply as she thought about a good reply. There was the obvious and very boring answer and then there was the wordy and much more exciting answer that she was trying to formulate.
"I grew up in a house full of forgetful people," she nodded, pleased with that answer. "Outside of Bath near Bradford-On-Avon where my great-great-grandfather Lorenzo Moon moved from Italy to marry Liliana Macmillian, a Scottish witch and a friend to the Moon family. It was arranged and they lived near Bath because back then everyone thought waters were good for healing and Liliana was a very sickly witch. She didn't live too long, she died giving birth to my great-grandfather Lazzaro Moon and Lazzaro Moon married Elizabeth Flint and had my grandfather, Lino Moon who married Beatrice Orlando, an Italian Pureblood witch, and they had my father Leonardo Moon who lives in the house Lorenzo lived in to this day, and it's where I grew up. My grandfather lived with us after grandmother died because he had an accident when he was dueling with a wizard and lost his mind when my father was twenty. He's the most forgetful, bless him but then my mother is too.. and now my father is getting that way but he's an obliviator so we all thought this might be from charming himself after the first war."
She took a breath and scratched at the back of her head.
