George had actually been over at the Hogsmeade shop all morning, arguing with Fred about packaging for one of their new proposed products, and then ended up getting stuck finding the materials bills for the accountant, since Fred always made George deal with her, whenever possible.
But he'd finished that up and gone back to the Diagon store, letting their current shopboy off early to finish up the day himself, since he had nothing better to do, and the bloke had been complaining about needed a day off to go the Mungo's and get that burn he'd gotten looked at. (Which was his own bloody fault, their lab had Keep Out signs for a reason!)
It was a slow afternoon, though that was still pretty busy, so George was actually plopped on a bench behind the counter, reading through the supply catalog for one of their outside providers, and he didn't bother to get up until someone brought something to the counter to pay, so he didn't spot Jack right away. He grinned when he saw him. "Fred," supplied, unhelpfully. Most who knew the twins knew that they almost always claimed to be the opposite one, when people were unsure.
