"Sounds great," Oriel agreed and he fell into step with Maisie as they headed down the street. It was a nice evening for a walk anyway, the air smelling particularly crisp and clean, with a faint hint of wood stoves in the background, the first few being fired up.
He shook his head to dismiss her apology. "You had a long day," he guessed - Maisie had seemed positively exhausted when she had come home the night before!
He gave her a smile, that touched his vivid blue eyes. "I'm well," he spoke and signed at the same time. "Work is going well." For the first year since he graduated, he had been fact checking for the Quibbler, but two months ago he had been given a column to write on animals and magical creatures, and he adored that.
