Oriel leaned back once he had hugged her, so he could read her lips and followed her fingers as she signed. She might have been a bit slower than him (but then, he had been signing since he was quite small), and maybe not perfect, but he knew precisely what she was saying. He had always appreciated that she had learned to sign for him - as had a few others of his friends.
"Let's go," he agreed, speaking and signing in tandem, and he took a step back so Maisie could come out the door, waiting for her to shut the door and lock up and all that before they headed out.
"You're going to have to lead the way," he said, careful to look at her as they left the building, and headed outside. "Is it far? Or should we Apparate?" He didn't mind walking though, if it wasn't too far away. Oriel liked to walk, and things were always so nice this time of the year. Still warm from the lingering summer, but not hot hot hot.
