Zacharias's flat took up the entire top floor of the small building. He liked his space, was used to the finer things in life. When Merlin arrived, Zacharias had been in the living room area, flipping through the Daily Prophet. He heard the patter of footsteps, the wards around the flat humming softly.
Folding the paper, he set it aside, and rose to his feet, crossing through the flat until he came to the balcony. He pulled the sliding door open, and leveled one of his lazy, smirking smiles on the other.
"Hello Merlin Toke," he said, in the habit of using his entire name. "Come on in." He really had no idea how Merlin knew where he lived but obviously he did.
