“They don’t seem to realize that. I’m starting to think that they honestly believe that those with money will start mixing with the blood traitors or muggles and therefore will be interested in those techniques. Which just goes to prove how little they actually interact with the people with money.” Which in reality was a good thing because she certainly didn’t want to have to interact with them more than she had to.
She was glad that it appeared that Delaney was trying to pay attention as best she could. She didn’t honestly expect the woman to remember much just because it was such shocking news and Anabel was pushing a lot off on her. Still it was appreciated that she was making an attempt. She got aggravated with the patients who seemed to tune the Healer out and go off into their own little world. It was always best to listen to the person trying to help as long as they knew what they were talking about.
“A month from now, when the fetus should be six weeks along. That would be the best time to locate the heartbeat and check on the growth. It would also be the best time to find the most accurate due date, though we could hazard a guess now.” Though that really all depended on Delaney and whether she wanted to progress naturally or not. Everyone varied on that point. “Though when we do figure out the date we’ll need to discuss if you want to go for a natural birth or not. Each opens up a new discussion.”
She paused, just looking at the woman. It was easy to tell she was still quite frazzled by all of this. “Is there anything else you need? Anything more I can do to help?” It wouldn’t do for Delaney to leave on her own too distraught. She might even insist that she not apparate if that was how she got here. It wouldn’t do for her distraction to cause her to be splinched.
