Anabel was actually tempted to pay good money to see something like that. She felt it was high time that he got put in his place. Still though it wouldn’t do for someone like Delaney to do it and end up in trouble if the wrong person witnessed it. She was quite certain she could get someone a little more expendable to do it for her.
“Oh I’m sure there is a good chance you are correct, but it’s always best to cover everything so no one can accuse you of pointing blame without proof.” She was of the mind that any low class establishment that served food poisoned the majority of their customers, so it was no shock to her that this one could have poisoned Delaney. She’d run the tests, give her the potion to help her stomach and let her have a copy of the results if she wished to pursue anything legally.
“We’re simply that amazing,” Anabel dead panned, drawing her wand from her robe pocket. “Oh trust me, I know. I wouldn’t even offer the blood draw if they didn’t make us. They want us to make everyone comfortable and cater to their whims instead of doing what is practical.” Plus she despised doing anything at St. Mungo’s the muggle way and more often than not pulled in a trainee to do it and only came back with the results. “I’ll run the scans now and you’ll have the results in a moment.” And with that said she started up the diagnostic spell, letting it run over the entirety of Delaney’s body.
Once the scan was done she pocketed her robe once again and grabbed the folder, glancing down at the paper that had listed the results. Her eyebrows shot up as she read over them and she glanced up at Delaney before looking back to the paper. “Well, you most certainly don’t have food poisoning and the nausea might last for a number of months yet.”
