"It's... interesting," Oriel said a little bit doubtfully, but he did always try and be nice about things. Even unicorn sweaters. Well, someone had owned it once, and it didn't still have tags on it or anything, so they probably had liked it! And someone else would surely come along to give it a new home.
Or maybe turn it into a nice pillow?
Leaning across the bin, Oriel stroked his fingers along the arm of the sweater. The material was soft under his fingertips. "That would be cozy," he said, making sure to look at her face so he could follow the words she was speaking. Ellie wasn't much of a mumbler which he had always appreciated, so he could 'read' what she was saying with relative ease.
"You should get it," he said as he leaned back and started pulling at more sweaters, attracted by colours and textures as well. He held up a green one, but discovered it would be positively huge on him and put it back and kept digging. It was rather like a treasure hunt, thrift store shopping was.
"That's nice," he noted the pink shirt she was holding before he pulled a medium blue shirt out and held it up, deciding it would be a good fit.
