"Can some of them be sewed?" Oriel asked. It might not have been the most masculine thing in the world, but Oriel could sew. Oh, he would never be sewing clothes from scratch, but he could darn a knock or put on a button or sew up a little hole here and there. Enough to mend little things so they didn't have to be tossed out.
"Muggle thrift stores can be great," he agreed. There were a couple people glancing at them - at him especially, but he was used to that. Some people were always flummoxed when they saw someone speaking in sign language.
"I'm not busy," the dark haired boy was quick to assure her. He had been into the offices in the morning, and would work on his latest article this evening, but he did have the afternoon to spare.
