"Sure," Oriel replied with a little bobbing nod of his head. He was always happy to lend things out to friends. Sharing was a great thing - and also good for the environment, because it meant that not everyone was running out to buy new things. Very important.
With a smile, his bob turned to a shaking of his head. "I'm sure you won't. You'll be good with kids," he said as he worked out the words with his fingers as well. Ellie was sweet and kind and cuddly - all things that kids responded to. He was sure there would be a lot of fun and a lot of hugs!
"I'd like that. We could bring Maisie along as well." Oriel was also of the mind that you were never too old for such things. He had many fond memories of climbing on monkey bars and swinging on swings.
His face screwed up then, in a sympathetic grimace at those two unfortunate words. "Oh, the poor clothes," he said, although he couldn't help think that the moths must be feeling awfully happy.
