Emma's cheeks went bright red, red, red but it didn't stop her from being thoroughly talkative despite the bashfulness she felt. There wasn't much that could stop Emma from being a chatty sort anyway, and in fact, her response to compliments always seemed to be an abundance of talk.
She leaned backward for a moment to grab at her wand which was lying down upon the counter behind where she sat. Emma gave her cheek just under the hit eye a gentle tap, flinched, uttered a spell and lowered her wand looking much more pleased than before. The spell wouldn't last too long but for a good while it would hold off any swelling and bruising that would otherwise make her look like a panda bear.
"You're such a liar, you really think that? Tell me more delicious lies about myself, I do enjoy a good string of compliments," she laughed.
