"No, my brother's name is Alfred...but everyone calls him Alfie!" she quickly amended her little slip. She just should have stuck with Alfie. She hoped that she hadn't somehow given both of her siblings awkward nicknames when it came to this odd Slytherin boy.
"Or perfectly average teenage girls," she input just for the hell of it. Getting annoyed at it wasn't going to do her any good, but really? All of those animals. It wasn't exactly flattering. She was beginning to curse her mother and father's naming abilities, or lack thereof.
She watched him, almost amused at the face he made, "I've been very well, thank you," she looked at her watch for a moment, an unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach. She actually wished that they were asking her to go in to work, rather than telling her to stay away. She didn't need time off right now. She needed something to do!
