Leaning back in the booth he just waited, his time away taught him the worth of moments of silence. He’d heard and seen so much that he was perhaps one of the few people who enjoyed just sitting and being silent. So Adrian waited, watching the pain that crossed over Astrophel’s face. Something was amiss, but he would let the other man get it out on his own time. It wasn’t like he had anything pressing, Astrophel was the only person who actually had reached out to get to know him again since he’d returned.
Trying to hide the horror that passed over his own face he watched the man, trying to even comprehend what he was saying. Swallowing he leaned forward across the table, “Shit man.” Shaking his head he ran his hands over his own face and was silent for a moment. “Astrophel, it’s not like I can say I understand, cause I seriously don’t get what’s going on for you. But what I can say is I’m here for ya, not sure what the hell I can do, but… well I’m here.”
