As the smile spread across Astrophel’s face Adrian was forced to admit that the man wasn’t exactly the same. The uppercrust stiffness was no where to be seen, in fact he was child like in nature… Odd. Finishing his second Stella he pushed the glass aside, so he wasn’t the only one who lost a bit of himself in those dark days. Granted he had no idea what being under the imperio for so long would do to a man, especially since it wasn’t lifted by magic, only by the timely death of the man who initiated it.
After the outburst Adrian couldn’t help himself he laughed, and that wasn’t something he did on a regular basis these days. “Fuck man, I wasn’t there on holiday.” Something dark surfaced in his bright eyes before he looked away from the other man. Roughly running his hand through his hair he got a handle on himself, turning his attention back to Astrophel. “I never did see any of that shit. But I never was into the wildlife thing, actually I glad as hell to be out of there and back in civilization.”
When the blonde came back she didn’t look at Adrian, she was miffed with him. That made him grin. At the exchange the two had he raised a brow, interesting. “Water? Seriously?” Shaking his head he ordered another beer from the waitress. Shrugging, “Well I took my Pop’s old post in the Ministry, but fuck all else is going on. Not sure I want to strike up the old relationships you know. Well present company excluded of course. How about with you? What the hell you been up to?”
