WHO: Gretchen Watkins & Delaney Twilfitt (cameo appearance by Trevor Scabior!)
WHAT: lunching, chatting
WHERE: Two Happy Squids
WHEN: Friday afternoon
WARNINGS/RATING/STATUS: None probably, surprisingly (considering who's in the thread)SEX SEX AND MORE SEX/PG13? NC17/Ongoing

Gretchen used the wall of Martini's to steady herself as she fixed the buckle on her boot. It had taken her a while to find these and she wondered absently why she'd bothered. It wasn't as though this lunch meant anything to her but getting out of the office. Shrugging, she leaned back against the wall and studied the people walking across the street.

It was busy in the Alley, full of parents and children picking up last minute textbooks and cloaks for school. As Gretchen watched the throngs, she found herself longing for September first and the relative peace it afforded the Alleys. She was at least lucky enough to work on Knockturn, and far enough in that no stupidly curious children made their way up to the shop; she couldn't imagine actually putting up with crowds of insipid customers like this every day.

Her eyes on the wizards across the Alley, Gretchen spotted Delaney, waiting and timing it correctly so she stepped unseen up beside the woman a few feet away from the entrance to the Squid. "Delaney," she nodded in greeting, allowing a small smile to curl her lips.
