Andy gave Jack a thankful smile and then laughed softly at the pun. He could have told Jack that it was okay, he'd learned the charm to fix his fingers back in Hogwarts when the owl had first gotten him (rather than the other way around) but he'd be a little stupid to sabotage the little touches that would come with Jack doing this for him, so he held his tongue. That and it was nice to make Jack feel good about helping.
At least he thought Jack would feel good about helping...
He was still pondering this one when the man in question returned to tend to his hand, the comment bringing a grin but the cloth to his hand, gentle as it was, drawing an indrawn hiss of breath as it stung. "That stupid owl." he commented. He'd never so much as consider getting rid of it though.
