Well, she wasn't sure. Except that he had the same look in his eyes she remembered from school, and you never really get over those first hard crushes after they go bad or turn into huge sodding rock stars.

"Gid..." She said, a laugh behind it that was half nervous and half something else. She should have asked why he was there, or what he was doing, but instead she said, "they couldn't have gotten any worse. Your dormmates all heard me...."
