Oh, there were more! Where they multiplying? Jack had not noticed that there were other blonde children, because he was rather focused on the one barrelling his way - and Donaghan Tremlett himself! But now that the man was holding them both, he noticed them. How odd. A child replication spell?
Jack ducked his head when the child flung himself at the bench, expecting him to land on him. It was rather a relief when he didn't. Nimble fingers were stealing some of his food though!
"Uh, help yourself?" he asked a bit mildly, because he wasn't going to arm wrestle a child for a piece of chicken that he already had his (probably sticky, because children were always sticky) fingers on.
"Only if he used non-verbal cues," he replied, but he shrugged and couldn't help grinning a little bit. The kids were cute. Which was of course why very small children could get away with things. They were cute. And then they grew and were less cute and couldn't get away with things anymore.
"It's alright," he decided, trying not to gape and stare and be ridiculous. "It's just food. And they always serve such big poritions at the Squid and.. you're Donaghan Tremlett," he blurted out. So much for playing it cool.
