"Cake. That's one of my favourite words, you know," Zacharias said, and he took the cake so he could set it down on the coffee table, that was quickly filling up with food. Many delicious things to eat. He smiled at the little girl. Zacharias wasn't exactly a kid person - he didn't go gaga over infants - but she was Hannah's daughter, so she had to be alright.
"Well come in, have a seat - and yes, eat Megan's food," he laughed. "She made a buffet's worth." He waved her in and then returned to the table, to mix himself up a drink.
He took a tumbler and mixed up a gin and tonic, taking a sip. "So ladies, how's the summer been?"
