Lyra tucked a strand of dark hair behind her ear and shook her head, which merely undid the move she had made so she had to do it again. She had all her attention on him, on every word her spoke as if it were the most interesting thing in the world which really, to her it was quite a good conversation. Not many people could hold a good talk with her about Magical History texts!
"Oh," and she seemed slightly disappointed at his admission, as if she half hoped he might say he had all the time in the world.
"No, actually... it's my day off, a get a few before the term starts and I wanted to make a list," she flashed her parchment briefly. "A list of books I wanted to have purchased for the muggle fiction section because it's really in shambles right now and... well, anyway, I shouldn't keep you, it really was great to make your acquaintance.."
She was a bit flustered and almost walked away from him right then and there but before she made that choice to spin on her heel and hurry off she paused and gathered her thoughts before opening her mouth to say,
"We should meet up for.. for tea or, something, sometime? When you have a free day and I have a free day? I rather like having someone to talk to about the latest texts for twentieth century magical history."
