Rubbing his palms on the thighs of his jeans, Jack wandered out from one of the lesson rooms and into the shop proper. He had finished giving a piano lesson to a young little whippersnapper who thought that chopsticks was the greatest song ever written. That, and Little Brown Jug. But Jack was good natured and took the lessons well.
Wandering through the shop that was filled with music paraphenalia, he headed back towards the counter. Jack was dressed in a pair of gray pin stripped trousers and a black t-shirt with the logo of an obscure Wizarding Band on the front of it. His hair was a bit of a wild disheveled mess, but when wasn't it?
He had an easy grin on his face, almost a cheshire smile, as he slid behind the counter, leaning against it as he watched the store. It was quiet at the moment, so he pulled out a Wizarding music magazine, and started flipping through it. Until, that was, the door opened, a little jingle jangle of bells above. He flipped the magazine shut and shoved it under the counter as his eyes raised.
Wait was what... Jack had to have a bit of a stare as he watched the man come through the door. He blinked, just to make sure he hadn't suddenly descended into a daydream. Nope. He was awake. He even pinched himself to make extra sure. Ouch.
Nope. He was definitely not daydreaming. That was who he thought it was walking through the door. That, or a good doppleganger. Or someone under Polyjuice. But what was the chance of that?
It was Kirley Duke. Holy hippogriff!
