"Really?" Jack asked, his eyes flashing with all kinds of interest. But he curbed his tongue and didn't ask babbling questions about the songs that Kirley Duke was working on. He really wanted to though! Not just because he was famous, but because he was a musician, and Jack always liked to talk music.
"Staff sheets, got it," he said and he went over to the shelf of papers and pulled a package out, bringing them over to the counter as well. "You know, if you want, we can always order extra string sets in. If you ever wanted to buy them in bulk or anything. It's cheaper that way," he explained as he returned to the counter.
He started ringing things in, fingers flying over the cash register - he almost smashed his whole palm down when Kirley said his name! His name! How did Kirley know his name?! Oh, right, name tag. "Jack, yeah, that's me. I'm Jack," he said as he rang things in and then gave Kirley the total and started tucking things into a bag with the store's name on it.
"And you're Kirley. I'm sorry, I'm trying not to go all insane on you, because you probably have way too many crazy fans. And I'm not crazy. But I am a fan. A huge fan. You guys are amazing. Which... you probably already know. But... yeah. Hi."
