"Beside the point," George answered diffidently, plopping down on a crate opposite Fred and poking at his own nose, going cross-eyed to look at it. "You shoved the bloody door in my face. Wanker."
So they were going to hide in the back room until closing because there was a hag out front?
George decided that really, he was fine with that. There were probably a few bottles about. They had stashes everywhere. (Awkward to explain the one behind the Instant Darkness powder when a third year found it. They'd end up reselling it for four times what they'd bought.)
"I was just out and she attacked me with boring words and pamphlets," George answered. "And sod off, she's only talking to me to get you to snog her, I bet." Or just couldn't tell the difference, most likely. She squinted enough that George was sure she was nearsighted.
