ronnie kegg can kick [your] ass. (keggers) wrote in wished,
It is had been anyone else scaling the wall of her apartment, and sticking their nose against her window, she would have hexed their arse from there to the other side of the universe. However, something about Harold putting that much time and energy into seeing her flattered her... a lot. Though, she was not very much amused at the moment, and that might have been because she was a little overly tired. Smacking his hand away rather roughly, she brushed past him to stick her head out of the window. Gaze followed the side of her apartment down to the sidewalk and then back up. Almost like she was expecting to see a ladder, or broom lingering around to make the climb easier. Nothing was there. Glancing out towards the park, she shook her head, and then moved back into the bedroom, closing and latching the window behind her.
"Do you do this often, Dingle? Scale buildings and tap on the windows of pretty girls to get their attention?" Shooting him a wink, she moved to her dresser and pulled out an oversize, worn in, and faded Montrose Magpies jersey. Making a point to turn her back to Harold, she allowed the sheet to fall to the ground giving him a good flash of her backside as she tugged on the jersey. If she was going to have company, she might as well wear something a little more proper than a bed sheet that she hastily ripped off her bed. The jersey to a little above her thighs, it didn't do much to cover over the bottom curse of her ass, but it was enough to make sure she wasn't flashing Harold completely.
"You know, there are better ways of getting my attention, Dingy, most of them don't involve you pressing your nose against the window to my bedroom at two o'clock in the morning." A sly smirk curled on her lips, as she sat down on the edge of her bed, and scooted over to give him room to sit as well. "Though, I am flattered that you thought of me in the middle of the night and decided to come find me." Placing the heels of her feet on the edge of the bed, she pushed back to lay back down, flopping down. The oversized jersey threatening to fall off her body completely as she laid there. "Most people also plan sleepovers in advance, I'm afraid I don't have any cookies baking, nor any good ghost stories."
Pale eyes found him easily in the dark, as her head tilted slightly. Kegg couldn't put her finger on it, but there was something very exciting about Harold coming here in the middle of the night. Why did he come here? What did he want? Did he have something planned out that he wanted to tell her? Something that couldn't wait until the morning, or wouldn't be suitable for the journals? Veronica had to admit that even though she was frustrated that this was how he decided to show up, she was happy he came. At least now they could spend some time together. She did miss him hanging around her, and making her both angry and happy at the same time.
