Percy flashed a small, almost hopeful smile. "You're joking. You two were practically sweet to him the last few years. Might as well have bought him flowers and chocolates at Valentines."
He spoke lightly, but he wasn't sure he felt all that light. He and Fred would go their separate ways, Percy wold return to work and go home to his quiet flat and nothing would change. That was the likely scenario, and he couldn't bring himself to hope it'd be any different now.
