Lunch with dad. Percy snorted, soft and low. His mouth thinned, but he didn't say anything.
Fred was having lunch with dad, and Percy was the disappointment cast out on his own. There was something to be learned from that, something about irony, maybe, or human nature. Percy just didn't know what it was.
He contented himself with the thought that if he really wanted to he could simply apparate himself straight back to the Ministry. That reassurance made it easier to face his brother.
"You haven't wanted to do anything with me since the day you were born. Is this a new development, Fred, this wanting to be around me? Or is it just one more method of harrassment?"
