Susan bit down on her bottom lip and glanced over all the empty shelves that once housed potion ingredients and supplies. "All right, Ron. Thank you so much for coming by. I'll probably take inventory tomorrow, or... some time later to figure out exactly what was ruined." Shoe tapped a few pieces of glass, before she bent down to pluck them off the floor. "I'll be in touch, thank you again." If Susan had known this was going to drag out so much tension then she wouldn't have written an owl and just pulled one of the hit-wizards off the street.
Once Ron left, Susan glanced curiously at Marcus. "Perhaps, though, I think your reputation precedes you." She said quietly as she grabbed a broom that was resting against the wall. "Sometimes, all people can remember is the not so pleasant attributes in a person, and tend to forget that their just as human as the next person. That there was and are feelings and emotions that live inside you just as they live inside Ron or the next person." Shrugging slightly, she began to sweep up what was in the contents of the jars.
"Don't hold it against him, I've noticed that his family has a tendency to hold grudges and always think the worse of a person before they realize the good in someone." It's just like Susan to find the good in everybody. To bring out the shining best and polish it until it glows. Marcus seemed no exception and for some reason she felt compelled to be nice to him despite how he was back in school. To talk to him a human being and not like an animal. Consider it one of her weaknesses, or in this case one of her strengths. She never thought the worse, of it she did, she then in turn gave them the benefit of the doubt.
