susan bones will try to fix you. (susy_b) wrote in wished,
Susan smiled at the offer, as she picked up the tin and twisted off the top. "That's very kind of you, you don't have to do, though. You've done so much all ready." A gentle pressure was pushed to his chin so he would tilt his head to the side and give her a better of his ear. The door was something easy to fix, a few simple spells and it would be good as new. However, with the recent events, Susan began to wonder if she should have a stronger door in place. Perhaps a few locks on the door.
Dipping her fingers into the ointment, she nodded in agreement. "I'll owl them as soon as we get you better." She replied firmly. The salve was a mixture of her own invention. Three healing and soothing potions mixed into a wax did wonders on superficial burns. After spending countless days and weeks brewing healing potions, Susan found that this little tin lasted far longer than anything a cauldron could brew.
Fingers were poised above his ear when she heard his name. Faltering slightly, green eyes flickered to study his facial features. That's how she knew him. The name triggered the memory of who he was. The great big bully of Slytherin who picked on her housemates and made them cry. Blinking, Susan attempted to push those memories aside and focus on the Marcus Flint that just saved her and her store. Running her finger along the outer shell of his ear, her touch was feather light and gentle as she carefully spread the healing salve over his ear.
"I'm Susan Bones." The surname should sound familiar. If not because of the fact that she attended Hogwarts with Marcus, then because of all the work her family had done during the first war. After all, the Bones family was a rather "famous" family. The name dated back centuries, not a high society pureblood name, but a prestigious one. Noble in their own way, and known for intellect and perseverance. Most of the Bones' were dead now, at the hand of Death Eaters, but there were still some that remained. Susan and her mother and father.
