"To England!" Katie roared, a grin on her face as she looked over to her companion.

She'd lost count of quite how many she'd had, but did that matter? It wasn't like Katie to do this often, but England had played a brilliant match and that definitely called for some celebrating. Sure, there were games and practices to think about, but that's what hangover potions were for, right?

She was in a fantastic mood after a game well played and enjoying some good company. It felt like too long since she'd been out like this, even though it probably hadn't been more then a few weeks in reality. That wasn't the important point, though. The important thing was that she was out, she was having a bloody good time, and England was going to the semis.

"England!" he shouted back, a little hard to hear over the rest of the crowd - he was still a bit hoarse from shouting. But the beer slopping out of his glass as he raised it against Katie's went some way towards punctuating his enthusiasm, at least. "Fantastic. Fucking fantastic." After downing about a third of his glass, he turned to her, grabbed her shoulder, and tried to look as close to serious as he could manage. "Don't get too destroyed, now." Too late? "It's only a week or so away." Which was why he'd promised himself he wouldn't sing; he was going to need his voice then, too.

	Katie kept grinning as she downed a pair portion of her own drink. "I ca hold my liquor," she informed him, mock offense in her expression as he suggested she should be careful. 	"No you couldn't, love," he said with a broad smile, giving her arm a squeeze before sitting back and taking up his glass again. "But that's the kind of attitude we like to see, isn't it. 	"You never succeed," Katie finished, her grin growing wider as she picked up her own glass again. Did it matter much if she won or lost as long as they were having fun? Well, that and as long as she recovered enough to be fit for the next match, but Katie wasn't worried at all. (Reply to this) (Parent)
