The question felt a little like an affront, though Eloise knew Wayne couldn't have meant any harm by the inquiry. She liked her little apartment; the location was safe and rarely very busy, though she had realized as she was moving in that she may have underestimated how might space she might need. It was hardly permanent, she knew. Nothing seemed to be at this point in life, did it?
"Well, it's definitely bigger, what with your fancy second bedroom," she teased, wiggling her toes against the memory foam. "I think when I got back I was sort of used to living out of a box? So it's a bit small, maybe, given that I actually went and set up a proper living space for once. But I don't think I'll be there long, now that I've got work and that."
