He let his eyes move back about the place, "You've got some nice plants going," he said with appreciation at the orchids she had, "You hardly notice the toys really," he said, reaching in behind his seat to pull out a small picture book that he shifted to set on the side table, "It has a nice homey feel to it. Not like my flat. I feel like I barely spend any time there at all," he added, sipping his tea more.
"Is this place close to your dad's?" he asked, curious how she'd decided on this flat. He wondered if it had much of a yard or if it was close to a park or a community garden. Now that he'd been spending time with growers, he couldn't imagine raising a child, without giving them loads of time to dig in the dirt and be about growing things.
