Neville followed close behind her, clearly stating the address and stepping out into a very pleasant room. He held the child, and waited for her to approach him, surrendering the child so that she could take her daughter and put her to bed.
Once Olivia was in Hannah's arms, Neville moved to touch her arm before she could turn away, "Hannah, I should....Hannah, I am sorry. I never should have been so presumptious...I am sorry that I tried to....," and he found himself having a difficult time making a complete sentence. He paused, "After everything that you've been through, the last thing you needed was to be surprised by me, doing something so...reckless..," and he stopped again, trying to think what more he should say.
"I still want to take you and Olivia to the beach and I promise," and he swallowed slightly, "I promise to be the perfect gentleman. It is the very least that I can do, after offending you by being so forward," he said, finding himself slipping into the old Pure-blood training of etiquette and decorum.
