Who: Lavender and Parvati
What: Visits!
Where: Lavender's Cottage
When: Right Now
Rating: TBA

It was fortunate that Parvati was such a good and valued customer at Madam Primpernelle's, because the older witch was willing to work a bit late and mix up a fresh batch of a salve she said was sure to have scars disappearing. Parvati paid extra for it, but she also knew it was stronger if it was fresh and she wanted the best she could get.

An hour or so later, she was popping in close to Lavender's cottage and then going to knock at the front door, a little bounce in her step. She was also carrying her new bag that she'd gotten from the same article she'd used to snag the bag she'd sent Lavender earlier that day. She thought they'd like to be together.

It was very fortunate since Lavender was too ashamed and terrified to leave her house at all since the full moon. Before her mother left she insisted that Lavender looked lovely and that the scratch was barely noticeable, but barely still meant that it was still there and if it was still there then it meant that it wasn't gone. Lavender was likely making too much of a deal about it, but every time she looked in the mirrors, she wanted to cry.

After much scrubbing and even some potions and charms it looked just as bad if not worse. Groaning in frustration she tossed the towel into the sink and slammed the bathroom door shut. She wanted to cry and scream and shout. It was bad enough her arms were scratched and scarred from previous full moons, and her right side right under her ribcage had three nasty scars, but to have her face scarred as well? At least her arms and abdomen could be covered with clothes, her face couldn't be covered. It was the one redeeming factor about her and now it was disfigured from a full moon. Lavender wasn't really that vain, in fact, she hated herself just for thinking that way, but it was easier to blame her anger and frustration on vanity than on the actual thing that was bothering her. She knew in the back of her mind that all her anger and frustration wasn't in the fact that her face was scratched, but rather HOW and WHY her face was scratched.

Ever since the battle of Hogwarts, Lavender hated what happened to her. She hated that was now some horribly disfigured freak with a fear of leaving her house and turning into a screaming banshee every full moon.

At the sound of the knock on the door a brief spell of anxiety washed over her but quickly diminished as she realized her best friend was supposed to be coming over. Tugging her shawl over her shoulders a little tighter, bare feet padded over to the door. Peering through the peep hole, dark blue eyes caught sight of a very familiar face. Squealing just slightly, Lavender tossed open the door, "Parvvie!" She exclaimed with excitement as she held open her arms for a hug.

"Lavvie!" Parvati came in with the same sort of excitement, practically bubbling over at the idea of seeing her friend. She tried to respect that Lavender had these things that she went through every month, and she hated it and hated that werewolf that had done this to her and if he hadn't been dead already Parvati would have definitely tried to do something about it, but she didn't like having to stay away from Lav, even for a few days every month. It always felt like losing a sister, like when Pamda left for India and hadn't come back for years.

"How are you, are you okay? You can barely notice the scratch!" She rushed to reassure her, even if she hadn't looked yet. "I went by Primpernelle's on my way."
