Regarding the money in the wallet Maeve handed her, Delaney made a contemplative noise. "They're sort of... pretty," she murmured, holding up one note. "How much is this one worth?"
But all thoughts of money left her mind when she saw Maeve sway, and she lunged forward and caught her, wrapping her securely in her arms. "Hi," she said quietly, almost shyly. She wanted to kiss Maeve, wanted it so badly, but she was tired of making the first (the only) move all the time. She wanted for Maeve to want to kiss her, to be the one to start it.
She settled for looking in Maeve's eyes, letting her gaze flicker down to Maeve's lips and back up again, still holding her close under the guise of keeping her steady.
