Delaney raised an eyebrow. "Do you think there's nothing more to me than the fact that I'm a spoiled princess? I like to think I'm more. I'm a foster mother, I'm a clothing merchant... I'm a lover..." She waggled her eyebrows suggestively and laughed.
"And that I don't believe," she said firmly. "Look at you, you're smart, you're pretty, and you said so yourself, you don't bow down to anyone. You certainly haven't let me get away with any of my usual crap. What's not to like? I bet a heap of people have liked you, even if they never said anything."
