Laughing again, Delaney walked with her. "Whatever, right?"
"Perhaps not," she went on. "Perhaps I don't need lessons from you on how to do that, but perhaps I need lessons from you on how to do it the way you like it?" She grinned. "I think I'm a little drunk, Maeve. And I think I'd like to kiss you again. But this time... I hope you'll kiss me too. Unless I'm totally wrong and you hated those kisses..."
She gave Maeve plenty of time to back away or protest, leaning in nice and slowly, her fingers running down Maeve's arm to her wrist and capturing it loosely, pulling her gently closer.
