Her breathing almost back to normal, and her nose starting to acclimatise to the odour, Evie relaxed. "That Peeves," she remarked. "Someone really needs to put a stop to his rubbish."
She sighed. "Alfie, do you know much about Slytherin?" she asked. "Because I just had the most infuriating altercation with a Slytherin, and I don't know who he was or what his problem is, but he made me want to smack him. Me! I don't get violent!"
Just thinking about it was angrying up her blood all over again, and she took a couple of deep breaths to calm down, immediately regretting the action as the aroma filled her nostrils once more.
"Have you tried going to one of the professors for a charm or potion or something to take the smell away?" she asked.
