One thing Nikolas had always been grateful for, even in the days when the idea of having to marry Daphne was at its most odious, was that she was a very, very beautiful girl. Regardless of whether he had always liked her or not, it was one thing he'd been aware of from the start of this years ago. As the years had gone on Nikolas felt much more at ease acknowledging it.
