"Most of the weekends, yes, but it's frequently been the case that I will have to go in on Sunday to help out with paperwork or something else like that," she explained, trying not to sound as if she was complaining. "It's just nice to be able to plan out a whole weekend that doesn't include popping into the Ministry at least once after nearly three years there."
Penelope suspected that that wasn't going to be true overall, however. With the return of Voldemort came more incidents that required cover up and with that meant more work for her to do. Thankfully, she liked to have a busy work week.
"I do hope to get out to see some of the Quidditch games at Hogwarts this year, though. Hopefully they can allow me some time off for that." Taking a breath, Penny realized that two cookies didn't seem to be enough and that waiting for the lemon squares wasn't an option. She took out her wand and flicked it toward the kitchen. Within a minute, the plate of cookies was floating toward them. "Did I mention these are delicious? Because they are."
