Since the blush went unnoticed, Penelope carried on as if it hadn't happened in the first place. She followed the decorations to the kitchen table and pulled up a chair. There were so many things and Penny felt like a little kid who was about to help her mother (or father) with something for the first time. She nearly rubbed her hands together in a ready-to-get-down-to-busy sort of way, but managed to resist the temptation.
